Would You Rather… is a light-hearted activity designed for fun and engagement. Learners are presented with two options and asked to choose between them and should offer some justification in support of their answers. Some options are silly, others a little more sensible but all forms encourage pupils to think, laugh and discuss their choices with peers.
It can be used as a whole-class discussion or within small groups and is a great interactive icebreaker session.
Adult note: Although the activity is designed purely for entertainment purposes, teachers should review the scenarios beforehand to ensure they are appropriate for the particular audience.
