The Key Words Flashcards are the common exception words, taken directly from Letters and Sounds, and are designed to support the development of reading sight words within Phase 5.
It has been created with younger pupils in mind but, due to its editable features, can easily be used with pupils of all ages or those with EAL who need access to its content. The words can be displayed on an interactive whiteboard for whole-class teaching or printed and used as physical flashcards for small-group or independent practice.
The resource contains 5 copies of the word with different background themes (green, soft pink, grey, rainbow and plain), to suit personal preferences and the aesthetics of your learning space.
