GPS Detectives is a digital resource designed to help pupils develop accuracy and confidence in identifying spelling errors.
Each activity presents 8 sentences in which pupils must act as “detectives” to identify the spelling errors and attempt to spell it correctly. This encourages careful reading, attention to detail and a deeper understanding of spelling rules in context.
It is crafted with a whole-class approach in mind, as part of a GPS lesson on spelling, revision for KS2 SATs or even as a morning starter.
