A digital resource to support the identification of a range of punctuation marks in context. Aimed at pupils preparing for KS2 SATs.

GPS Detectives is a digital resource designed to help pupils develop accuracy and confidence in using a range of punctuation.

Each activity presents 7 sentences in which pupils must act as “detectives” to identify punctuation errors and whether a mark is used incorrectly or missing entirely. This encourages careful reading, attention to detail and a deeper understanding of punctuation rules in context.

It is crafted with a whole-class approach in mind, as part of a GPS lesson on punctuation, revision for KS2 SATs or even as a morning starter.

The resource can be purchased in two ways:

As a single activity

As a bundle of 4 activities (saving 19%)

The Teaching Chest endeavours to keep busy professionals and parents in mind, aiming to reduce workload without compromising quality. Our resources are easily editable, so you can adapt them for individual learners, or simply use them as a ‘press and play’ option.
